Quick Fix Emergent Situation
Retainer: $1000.00 4 hours at $250 per hour. We come to the hospital or place of care and address current situation.
Complex Medical History Consultations
Retainer: $1500 .00 (10 hours at $150 per hour, discounted $100 per hour from normal rate of $250 per hour, for prepayment and as services are to be provided remotely mostly via zoom and phone without in person visits) intensive chart review for hospital, nursing home, cancer treatment, transplant care, chronic care, hospice, birth planning and follow-up, with consultation and communication to address current and past concerns. In most instances we can handle over the phone and via zoom. If necessary we will go in person but we charge for travel time. No obvious malpractice or thoughts of litigation.
Long Term Illness / Nursing Home / Complex Care
Retainer: $2500.00 (Initial 25 hours at $100 per hour billed from retainer. Agent to provide up to 100 additional hours for complete intensive chart review for long term hospital / nursing home care evaluation, with consultation and communication to address current, past concerns with review of billing, regulatory concerns, neglect and abuse review, in person interviews as necessary. Agreement for long term consulting. Agent also to provide in person interviews of client, family and providers. Client only pays additional fees that are accumulated for additional 100 hours in the event of and from such settlement or award. Client agrees to pursue legal action against providers. The Patient Advocate Group to interview and help hire qualified legal advocates on client behalf. Such additional services rendered by Agent in addition to be billed at $250 per hour and deducted from settlement fees via contingency agreement with legal representation and hereby a lien is placed on such fees until agent is paid in full.
This package typically utilized when client was subject to abuse, neglect, malpractice, wrongful denial of insurance benefits or suffered injury of loss of life from providers actions or inactions. Principal understands that payment for services for attorneys and experts and continued services of Agent, beyond costs of initial retainer, will never have to be paid by Principal unless Agent makes claims on behalf of Principal which are later settled or a judgement is awarded to Principal, at which point, all monies due Agent will be deducted from lawsuit or claims settlements or judgements prior to Principal receiving proceeds from such claims.
